Skill Locations?
Ive been looking for places to buy/acquire new skills other than through just basic missions. Im talking about either a trainer (i know just of the one in ascalon), or a specialist (like a monk or an elementalist etc) who gives you misisons for your profession. Does anyone know where they are or where i could go to find out where they are?

A list of skill trainers is available from all major GW websites, for example:
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/skill-trainers-id238.php Skills from quests, that's a different story. Several GW websites are in the process of compiling a quest database, but none has a list yet that's anywhere near complete. GWonline has the biggest database so far, but you can't search it for skill rewards. |

Huh, did I miss something? Do you mean the free text search? Sure, you can use this, but only to search for a specific skill. I think this is not what mrguky, myself and most other userd are looking for.
What would be great is if you could do a more general search like: "search all quests with a monk skill as reward". Of course this would require that the reward field, which is currently free text, would have to be split into categories: xp, gold, items, skills, skill points, .... This way you could even link the skills database with the quest database! As a desperate user I DEMAND this improvement. Now get your lazy ass to work. |
